"The stage is a lens for
who you are."
At Stage Lens Theater, we approach the art of improvisation as a way to connect with depth and purpose, while honoring the fundamentals of true theater and full play structure. This is a space to explore what unfolds when there's no script. Just you, your scene partner, and the moment between you.Our classes blend improvisation, acting, storytelling, and theatrical play structure into a living, breathing practice crafted in real time. Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or returning to it with a fresh mind, we welcome anyone curious about performance and storytelling.- Welcome to Stage Lens Theater -
I'm glad you're here.

My name is Arastoo, and I believe that the theater stage, especially the unscripted one, is a place to discover not only storytelling and creativity, but to better understand who I am, and who you are.I started Stage Lens Theater to explore improvisation as a path toward becoming a stronger actor, storyteller, and creator of full-length theater. For me, improvisation is where presence, vulnerability, and instinct take the lead. With years of experience as a performer and teacher, my work blends acting, story, connection, and deep listening to reveal what lies beneath the surface.Improvisation isn’t just comedy or games. It can be as layered, emotional, and meaningful as any written play. It’s a way to discover yourself through the raw truth of the moment. My goal is to help people grow not only as improvisers, but as actors and storytellers who feel grounded in real theatrical craft. I draw from classical acting focusing on presence, voice, body, emotion, and structure, while keeping the work supportive, personal, and accessible. At Stage Lens Theater, I offer a space for anyone; actors, artists, or the simply curious, to play, explore, and create stories that breathe with life and imagination.
I look forward to seeing you there.
